Lucknow :
Lucknow, 1 July : The government of Uttar Pradesh has initiated a new drive named “School Har Din Aaye Abhiyan” from July 1, 2025. It is aimed at bringing back children aged 6 to 14 years who have either never attended school or have dropped out. To identify these children, the government will conduct a door-to-door survey across the state.
The survey will be carried out by teachers, Anganwadi workers, and volunteers who will collect details about out-of-school children. Once identified, efforts will be made to enroll them in nearby schools. To encourage attendance, the education department will provide free school uniforms, books, bags, and other essential study materials.
In addition to enrollment efforts, the government will focus on follow-up strategies to ensure these children continue their education. Local school authorities and community leaders will engage with parents, spreading awareness about the long-term benefits of education. Regular community meetings and programs will be held to overcome economic and social barriers to education.
To track the success of “School Har Din Aaye Abhiyan,” the education department will maintain digital records and monitor progress in real time. A special task force will address field-level challenges, ensuring that every child found during the survey is supported on their return to school. The initiative is a key part of Uttar Pradesh’s mission to achieve universal education and protect every child’s right to learning.
