In a historic occasion, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami joined the celebrations after India's third lunar mission, Chandrayaan-3, successfully landed on the moon's south pole. The historic achievement was welcomed with national elation and pride, as the mission represented a big stride forward in India's space exploration efforts.
"Today is momentous for the entire country," declared CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, "India's Chandrayaan has landed on the South Pole of the Moon...I congratulate all of the scientists, as well as our esteemed Prime Minister Narendra Modi."
